On Monday, 13th October 2025 the first official graduation of our South African Partner School Prestige Excellence<\/a> took place. 14 successful graduates are now available as new service staff for Hermanus (South Africa). The graducation took place at Bona Dea Private Estate<\/a> and has been organised by our South African Partner Liza Fleur Maree in a perfect way.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Advanced Service Training<\/em> which has been successfully completed by fourteen young talents from the environment and lasted in total four training days. The program comprises all technical aspects for waiters. Beside providing them with the technical knowhow they also trained their practical skills. But more important than the provision of knowledge is to give them them life skills: confidences, attitude and behavior, communication with guest and most important – this is Liza’s hobbyhorse – the passion for hospitality. Gastronomy is finally not just a job it is a passion that ends if the guest is happy.<\/p>\n

It looks like this was quite successful. One of the graduates told the story, that she got so much self confidence by the program, that she just went into a good restaurant and asked for a job. Of course, she got the question about references and experience. She told that she has none of them but just finished the program from Prestige Excellence. The restaurant said that they will come back. Obviously they checked out Prestige Excellence and were convinced about the offer. They called back the next morning and told her that she could start with her new job the same day. There are really new service staff for Hermanus for our programme.<\/p>\n

It is such histories that motivate me again and again, to launch international projects even with the risk, that many of them shrivel away. Due to my long-term experiences on nearly all continents, I am in position to adapt the concepts on the respective country. Thus, there is a big chance that they get really implemented.
