Gin has become a trendy drink in recent years – right so, because a good gin is really a pleasure, even more so if it is a gin with award! It is important that both the gin and the tonic water, if you mix it, are of good quality. For this challenge we have the solution for you: At the “Trophy Spirits Show”, which took place in Pretoria at the end of 2022, the “Triple Three Just Juniper Berry” was awarded as the Best Gin of the Show and also as the Best London Gin. The other gins from Triple Three also received an award, namely a bronze medal each. All excellent gins are available in Switzerland directly from our wine shop.
Rolf Zeitvogel, Master Distiller at the Triple Three Distillery in Somerset West, South Africa is proud of the award he and his team have received. Accordingly, he says “This award is the proof that passion and motivation to make the best gin pays off. We are very honored that we had the best gin at the competition and that all our submitted products were awarded. We have our Gin kept authentic and puristic and we are proud to say that this commitment has been recognized accordingly”. Inspired by the oldest recorded gin recipes, Triple Three Just Juniper Berry is distilled exclusively with juniper. This is also what makes it so unique, as most gins are distilled using three or even more ingredients. “You might expect that a gin distilled with just one ingredient would be one-dimensional on the palate, but Just Juniper Berry is surprisingly balanced and complex with citrus, herbal, spice and floral notes,” Rolf Zeitvogel explains.
